How to play Red Dog Progressive

The game starts by placing a bet between 1 and 100 euros, this is the Ante. Then two cards are dealt face up, the red dog chip will then move to the square on the table that represents the amount of cards that can fit between the two face up cards. For example, if the two cards faced up are 2 and 9 then the red dog chip would land on the number 6. This means you have 6 possible winning cards, 3,4,5,6,7 and 8. If the cards face up in Red Dog Progressive are consecutive numbers for example, 2 and 3, then you will receive you bet back with no additional winnings. If you get a pair on the first part of the deal then you are in with the chance to form three of a kind, meaning have three of the same card values. The payouts can be seen on the table game itself.

If you have consecutive cards or a pair (that doesn’t make it to three of a kind) the ante is considered a push and you receive you bet back, if there is only 1, 2 or 3 possible cards that can give you a red dog hand then they pay out 5 to 1, 4 to 1 and 2 to 1 in that order. Any matches between 4 and 11 are paid out double the ante placed. If you manage to get three of a kind, then the payout will be 11 to 1! Once you see the first two cards you choose whether to raise or call the cards dealt, very different to any other poker style game such as Texas Hold’em poker. This online casino game also has uses the progressive betting mode, meaning you can keep your winnings on the table for the next round of cards to be dealt, which gives you a higher bet amount for each round.
